The Hot Tapping service consists of the perforation of the pipeline in normal operating conditions of the pipeline, to create the accesses that will allow the execution of the Line Stopping service.
In turn, the Line Stopping service consists of installing a Line Stop assembly or housing on the previously installed accesses, which allows connecting a bypass line and installing a mechanical shutter in each access to divert the production towards the bypass and isolate the pipe section to be cut for replacement.
